The HubSEO Rank Tracker connects directly to the Google Search Console API to ingest daily performance metrics without scraping or synthetic bot queries.
Why GSC-Native Rank Tracking?
Traditional rank tracking tools query Google from residential proxy networks. This creates several problems:
- Proxy results are tainted by geographic IP routing and personalisation.
- Bots never see true search queries with real user intent.
- Third-party scrapers frequently get rate-limited or blocked.
HubSEO uses Google's own verified record: impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position across every query your site ranks for.
Continuous Auto-Sync

03:00 UTCdaily, HubSEO fetches rolling 28-day performance data. - Delta Computation: The engine calculates position changes compared to the prior 7-day and 28-day baseline:
Delta Position = (Average Position prior) - (Average Position current)
Query Classification
Queries are automatically categorized into actionable groups:

| New | Query observed in current window with no prior data | New opportunity: create dedicated asset or section |
| Lost | Formerly ranked in top 20, now unobserved | High risk: check for canonical issues or unintended noindex |
